I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than fifteen years of clinical experience. I have practiced at Bellevue Hospital and Morristown Memorial Hospital, as well as housing corporations, employee assistance programs, Fortune 500 companies, schools, and other social service settings.
I believe life isn’t about what happened to us, but how we react to the circumstances we are given. I have seen how, with the right support, we can become stronger and find fulfillment—even in those really rough stages of life. I can show you how to truly live the idea that that even when we reach our goals there is always more to explore and the journey is far from over.
I have a BA in Psychology and Sociology from The University of Delaware and a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. Additionally, I have completed advanced training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP), taken courses in family therapy at Ackerman Institute for the Family, and have had extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness.
A New Jersey native, I moved to Brooklyn in 2007 and feel at home on a tree-lined street in a brownstone apartment. In my free time I enjoy an active lifestyle. I am passionate about people, wellness, learning, and yoga.
